The December 2024 group trip to the Azores was nothing short of magical, thanks to Sandra’s impeccable organization and attention to detail. From start to finish, every aspect of the trip was thoughtfully curated to ensure an adventurous and unforgettable experience.
Sandra planned a perfect mix of activities, including scenic hikes, relaxing visits to hot springs, paddleboarding, and even a treetop obstacle course that brought out everyone’s adventurous side. Each hike was well-paced, offering just the right amount of challenge, and the rewards were always worth it—whether it was soaking in serene hot springs or paddleboarding on a tranquil lake.
The culinary experiences were another highlight. We indulged in a traditional Portuguese lunch and a delightful group dinner in a charming village. The timing couldn’t have been better, as the villages were beautifully decorated and glowing with Christmas lights, adding a festive atmosphere to the trip. Exploring the Christmas markets, filled with local vendors selling traditional treats, added a touch of magic and charm to our evenings.
Sandra even conducted Portuguese lessons every evening, which were both entertaining and educational, giving us an appreciation for the local language and culture in a fun, relaxed setting.
Our accommodations were exceptional. The hotel rooms were spacious with breathtaking views of the ocean and stunning sunsets that provided the perfect place to unwind after our adventures.
Sandra truly went above and beyond in every aspect of this trip. From the thoughtfully planned activities to the special treats and cultural immersion, I couldn’t have asked for more. This experience exceeded all expectations, and I would highly recommend Sandra’s trips to anyone looking for an adventure filled with beauty, culture, and unforgettable memories!
