Wing SUP in Algarve: Experience & 4km Tour – Wingsup Ria Formosa
Another amazing way to get to know our beautiful Natural Park of Ria Formosa in the Algarve is no doubt to travel over the water and get a new perspective of the colours, the sounds, the views and the silences. The paddleboarding board below your feet and the wing in your hands will allow you to float and ride the winds in a surprising and fun new way.
Join us for an unforgettable adventure with Wingsup Ria Formosa, where you can explore the stunning landscapes while enjoying the thrill of paddleboarding.
Even if you have never done it before, the chances that you will finnish your wingSUP session with a big smile on your face are not slim. We advise you to bring: bathing suit, shorts, lycra or tshirt, sunscreen, a towel, water, cap/hat and booties if you have.
You can try two different experiences with us:

. 2h30 Wing SUP trial & tour of 4km from Cabanas to Fábrica (or the other way around if the winds so demands).
What is this “WINGSUP” or “WING SUP”?
The WingSUP is more than a sport: it’s an experience that awakens all the senses. On the board, with the wing in your hands, you feel the wind gently pushing you, the sun reflecting on the water, and the sounds of the Ria Formosa surrounding every movement. It’s a blend of freedom and balance, where each stroke ceases to be just effort and becomes a pure connection with nature. For those who have never tried it, it’s surprisingly accessible: you quickly learn to control the wing, feel the wind, and glide effortlessly over the water. But the magic isn’t just in the technique — it’s in the moment of floating over the lagoon, surrounded by birds, salt flats, and islands, with the horizon opening up ahead. Every WingSUP session is a small adventure, a break from the fast pace of daily life, a way to rediscover the feeling of lightness, strength, and harmony with the wind and water. When the wind blows at least 6/8knots from Southwest, WingSUP from Cabanas to Fábrica is mind blowing.

All the gear we have will contribute to making your 4km tour a memorable one, even if you have never before paddleboard or used a wing.
We promiss you that you and your family will have a story to tell in the end of the adventure!
Once in Fábrica, we will get back to Cabanas (departure point) with us in our van. You do not need to worry about transfer.

- I have never tryed it. Can I do it?
Yes, even if you never tryed paddlboarding, you will have loads of fun. We promiss you. - Is it very difficult?
Not really, we have been having whole families (from 9 to 75 years old) trying it with success. - Do I need to know how to swim?
Yes, if we are to go into deep waters. When those who visit us do not know how to swim, we offer an alternative program, in a shallow area. - Do I need to fill out any documents to register?
Yes, you must fill out our digital registration form. We will send the link via WhatsApp. - Where should I go for the tour?
You should always go to our store/office in Cabanas de Tavira, Algarve. - Do I need to book in advance?
Yes, it is strongly advisable to book in advance to be sure of our availability for the tour. We do it with a maximum of 4 people.
