Why visit Mértola
Observed from the waters, the village of Mértola appears like out of time on its own. Filled with ancient and historical memories everywhere you set your eyes on, Mértola is certified an important World Heritage by UNESCO.
We will drive you there and get you paddleboarding over the Guadiana river’s waters. Lunch and a visit to the castle and its museum is also included in this incredible 1day tour.
A 1day tour that mixes adventure, gastronomy and History. You will be amazed. Please note that we only do these tours from October to April.
We advise you to bring: bathing suit, shorts, lycra or tshirt, sunscreen, a towel, water and a cap/hat because the sun and the heat will be meeting us in Alentejo. All insurances are included.

MÉRTOLA TOUR1 Program:
9:30am: Departure from Eolis in Cabanas de Tavira (1h15min. drive in our van)
10:45am: Setting up, getting ready and Paddleboarding Tour of 9Km
1pm: Lunch at a traditional restaurante in Penha D’àguia
3pm: Return to Eolis, in Cabanas de Tavira
MÉRTOLA TOURS 2 and 3 Programs:
9:30am: Departure from Eolis in Cabanas de Tavira (1h15min. drive in our van)
10:45am: Setting up, getting ready and Paddleboarding Tour (7Km and 4Km respectively)
1pm: Lunch at a traditional restaurante in Mértola
2:30pm: Visit to the castle and its museum
5pm: Return to Eolis, in Cabanas de Tavira
